Grant’s 3 Month Session – Orange, CA

Ryan and I went to high school together so when he called to schedule a 3 month session for his cute little dude Grant, I was excited. Grant was an amazing baby to photograph with such personality. I mean come on, how many babies do you know that can fist pump? Thank you Ryan and Trisha for allowing me to be part of your beautiful family. I can not wait for our next session.

Nobbs’ Maternity Session – Long Beach

When Sally told me how much Long Beach especially the docks played a roll in her life I knew the only place for their maternity session would be there. We had a great time exploring the art district and then ended our shoot down at the docks. What a fun couple to photograph and I am excited to be their family historian.

Welcoming Baby Aiden – Orange, Newborn Session

Being a photographer I consider myself a family historian. I love watching families grow and feel honored to document their lives. I have known the Williams family for sometime now as I photographed their wedding in San Francisco, maternity session and now their beautiful little boy Aiden. I look forward to watching Aiden grow up into a little man.

A little information if you are pregnant or just had your baby:
- It is best to have your newborn session 5 to 7 days after the birth.
(This session was shot 1 month after his birth)

- I recommend a maternity, newborn, 3 month, 6 month and a 1 year session to capture all the important milestones of your baby.

- My newborn and 3 month sessions are shot in the comfort of your home and depending on your child my 6 month and 1 year sessions start in your home and may end up outside.

- The 9 month session is optional because most babies don’t change to much from 6 months to a year expect for the ability to walk, which will be captured in the 1 year session. A fun idea would be to do the 9 month session with the grandparents.

- Every 1 year session should include cake smashing!

A Smashing Good Time

Cake Smashing sessions are a blast to shoot because it is fun to watch kids be kids. What a fun way to celebrate the 1 year milestone in your kid’s life then by finally allowing them to play with their food:)or better yet because you get some freaking cute shots of your kid! We all know that kids enjoy being in their home surrounded by their toys and things that are familiar to them and that is why I do my Cake Smashing session in the comfort of your home. Once the shoot is over you can bring your kid directly into the bath while I throw away the paper and like magic it looks like it never happened.

Things To Remember For Your Session:
- Parents, more than likely you will get a little messy.
- Kids tend to have allergies so please make sure to order your cake according to that.
- Avoid white and red frosting.
- The more colorful the cake the better.
- Baby wipes.
